Pioneer Bank Card Control helps protect your debit and creditcardsby sending transaction alerts and giving you the ability todefinewhen, where and how your cards are used. Simply download theapp toyour smartphone, then customize your alert preferences andusagesettings to monitor and manage your cards. Alerts EnsureSafe,Secure Card Usage Alerts for PIN and Signature transactionscan beset up to keep you informed of your debit and credit cardusage andhelp you quickly detect unauthorized or fraudulentactivity. Theapp can send an alert when a card is used or when atransaction hasbeen attempted but is declined – and additionalcustomizable alertoptions are available. Alerts are immediatelyafter a transactionhas taken place. Location Based Alerts andControls The My locationcontrol can restrict transactions tomerchants located within acertain range of your locations usingyour phone’s GPS,transactions requested outside the specific rangecan be declined.The My Region control uses city, state country orzip code on anexpandable interactive map, transactions requested bythe merchantsoutside of a specific region can be declined UsageAlerts andControls Spending limits can be established to allowtransactionsup to a certain dollar value and decline transactionswhen amountsexceed your defined thresholds. Transaction can bemonitored andmanaged for specific merchant categories such as gasstations,department stores, restaurants, entertainment, travelandgroceries. And you transaction can also be monitored forspecifictransaction types in store purchases, e-commercetransactions,mail/phone orders and ATM transactions Card on/offSetting When thecard is “on” transactions are allowed in accordancewith your usagesettings. When the card is “off” no purchase orwithdrawals areapproved until the card is subsequently turned backto “on”. Thiscontrol can be used to disable a lost or stolen cardand preventfraudulent activity.
